Recently, Nokia surprised the Mobile telephony industry with its stylish Booklet 3G. Now, US cellular service provider AT&T has teamed up with Acer And Samsung to join the race for on the move computing and web access. It is offering two netbooks that are loaded with Microsoft Windows 7 and offer integrated mobile broadband service to the users. As of now, the telecommunication giant is offering two models the Acer Aspire One and Samsung Go. The models are being offered with the AT&T’s mobile broadband plan with two years contract at a price of $199.

The buyers of these netbooks will be offered 200MB of usage per month and it will cost them $35. They can also opt for 5GB data per month for a rental of $60. AT&T’s 3G network can be availed by the users as well as its numerous WiFi hotspots in the USA. While the AT&T mobile handset users can also access its 3G network, the glitches of smart phone OS hinders the browsing experience to an extent. The netbooks are really lightweight and with Windows 7 , web access will be a smooth and trouble free affair.

Both the Acer and Samsung models have standard specifications like a 160GB hard disk, 10 inch screen area and webcam. However, the users who want complete multimedia experience from the netbooks may be disappointed with these models. This is because both the netbooks come loaded with Windows 7 starter edition. This edition does not include the advanced media features of the new OS.
