The Number One Way To Amazing Headlines
You blog for a living? Good. Blogging is a surefire way to make a huge pile of
money. It can be done while at work. During a coffee break. And even when in your pajamas. Now, every expert blogger worth his salt knows that what makes or breaks his blog is his content. What is written keeps visitors coming. Poor content or rehashed articles do not draw readers. That is the reason that article randomizers or generators do not work. Only robots would appreciate such crud. But did you know that many bloggers overlook one vital aspect?
It’s the headline.
Think of a blog article as the sexy body of someone who catches your glance on the street. Then imagine that the FACE on that sexy body as the headline. Which do you look at first? Right. The headline.
Headlines can be more important than the actual content. Without a snappy headline, your article can end up unread. No readers means no ad clicks. It also means less sponsors.
Before you even whip up the content, think of a great headline first. Then build the article around it. I know what you’re thinking. Easier said than done, right?
Wrong.
I used to labor at creating killer copy. I purchased books like Joe Vitale’s HYPNOTIC WRITING and honed my NLP skills at creating copy. I even maintained a snatch file where I stored pre-made headlines which I modified for future articles. Then I realized there was an easier way.
Digg.
Yep, Digg is the answer. Go over to dig and key in a search term. Instantly you come up with hundreds of amazing headlines tailor fit to the topic. And you can tell which actually holds great drawing power by the amount of diggs the headline has! Digg literally hands over a list of tried and proven headlines that inspired action.
So the next time you write an article, don’t sweat it. Consult digg!
