Opera has release it’s latest browser version 10.50 and it advertises itself as the Fastest Browser on Earth.
What features does Opera contain?
Opera 10.50 contains a new design with Private browsing available. It has a new JavaScript engine, Carakan, which loads WebPages very quickly. It also supports CSS3 and HTML5 as well as Windows7 features like Aero glass, Jump Lists and Aero Peek.
Since security is on everyone’s minds, Opera offers more security to users while they visit websites with a Fraud Protection protocol, which is enabled by default. An ingenous precaution, the fraud protection scheme, warns users about fraud websites. This technology is run by phishing information derived from NetCraft and PhishTank and Malware protection from TRUSTe. Opera also provides an Extended Validation Certificates(EV) that offers added assurance and trust for secure websites.
Opera also offers the Vega graphics library. This enables users a have a fast and smooth graphics operation that includes something as simple as tab switching to the animation of WebPages. Another feature is that users can block images, pop-ups and plug-ins in a webpage by right clicking and selecting Block Content.
Private browsing is available where one can use Internet table or private tabs that do not leave a trace of where one’s been. You can also use Opera Widgets as stand alone applications.
