BBC Radio is great radio station. Whether you are tuning in to it via an AM or FM frequency using a physical radio, or streaming the station online, you are able to get a quick fix on world news, sports, music, and sometimes discussion shows.
UK audiences can stream the station online via their iPhones because BBC recently released an iPhone application for their Radio. So if you are a UK iPhone or iPod user wanting to listening to BBC Radio on your device, you are in luck; however if you reside outside the UK, the only free solution to listen to BBC Radio via your iPhone and iPod is called FStream

FStream allows users to add streaming URLs to it and then streams those URLs.
Pause handling is a great feature in FStream and so is buffer handling.
FStream is a great streaming application for iPhone that has a user-friendly interface. However there are a few things that can be done to improve FStream. The issues that can be fixed/improved are:
1. The streaming stops when the device is locked. So for the stream to continue we have to keep the device unlocked and this drains the battery.
2. It connects only via WiFi and does not support 3G.
I am sure that the developers behind FStream will recognize these issues and amend them for a better user experience.
