Chatroulette, iPad and Justin Bieber managed to top the most searched terms on Google for 2010. Google published this news in their annual Zeitgeist report which puts together all the billions and billions of search queries that Google handle every year.
Chatroulette was the fastest rising search term on the web. This site was created by a teenage Russian student and has sparked an awful lot of concern worldwide, but this hasn’t hampered its success. It pairs video chats with random users all over the world, and you never know who or what you’re going to see next.
In second place, iPad. The second fastest rising search term on the web, there certainly was an awful lot of hype building up to the release of the iPad, and that hype has still continued even after its release. I can see the iPad staying up there in the top search terms for another while as well with news of an iPad 2 already flooding the web.
Then in third place it was Justin Bieber. The teen sensation has reached unimaginable levels of fame in a very short space of time. Number one singles and sold out concerts go hand and hand with this artist. He also topped the list under Fastest Rising In Entertainment
The major social networks like Twitter and Facebook also both managed to keep themselves in the top 10.
Google also put together a list of the fastest falling search terms. Swine Flu topped the chart as the epidemic vanished as suddenly as it appeared.

There is no doubt about it. These are surely most visited keywords on Google for the season, as these are the factors that were in news for the whole 2010.
