Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

I wrote my first “How to Save Money” post 2 months ago after Everton’s rant about his broadband service provider, and here I am, writing another one, which will surely save you a lot of money while at the same time adding more problems to your “mobile phone charger nightmare“.

Some of you may not believe your own eyes after reading the title, and you’d think “That must be a scam!”

Well, you couldn’t be more wrong!

I have personally tried it and it really works.

How is it possible?

it’s pretty simple really. Go to Mobofones.com (a mobile phone comparison website which compares many mobile phone deals online everyday from major mobile phone outlets in the UK), and choose the 12 month free category, then you’ll see a long list of mobile phones with 12-month free line rental. Click on any phone that takes your fancy then you will see detailed info about it.

Here I will take the Samsung U600 as an example as it sits right at the top of the list

on this page you will see a list of mobile tariffs for the Samsung U600. Pay close attention to colomn 5 as marked below as info in that area tells you exactly how much it will actually cost from the specific mobile phone outlet

So the first row means that:

The mobile phone network is T-Mobile ; the contract is 12 months; monthly bill is 35 pounds

450 minutes anytime any network voice call time

You could get up to 900 texts alternatively

FREE Samsung U600

12 months FREE line rental saving £420.00

Flext gives you a monthly allowance which you can use for voice calls, texts and picture messages to any UK network at any time. Flext 35 gives you £90 allowance per month. This could be used for 450 pure minutes or 900 pure texts. Or you can use any combination of minutes and texts, such as 225 minutes and 450 texts. Line rental is £35.00 per month.

It tells you that the average line rental after you claim your cash back is zero, and the whole contract cost your nothing

It tells you which mobile shop the mobile phone and the contract is provided by

If you click Order Now, then you’d be sent to the order page and start the ordering process.

Please note that, if you want the Free Mobile Phone plus the 12 -month Free line rental deal, you’ll still need to pay your monthly bill as you normally do, the difference is that you can claim your cash back.

Within your contract, it will state clearly as how and when to claim your cashback.

If you don’t claim your cashback or forget to do so, then you will have to pay for the full fare

My experience has been good so far, and I hope you can save some money as well

—1——- 2—-3——————-4————————5——-6—-

1

If you could, please let us know how you get on

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

Mobile phone charger is to be standardised

I’m sure this post would lead to quite a few sympathetic comments. I myself have been suffering the mobile phone charger nightmare ever since me and my girlfriend got more than 4 phones 2 or 3 years back. it often takes me longer than 5 minutes to separate the charger cables , and find them back twisted together the day after…

….ahhh…!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I couldn’t help but shouting out loud while typing this down….

I pray to the lord….

Well, it seems my prayers are being answered …

…sort of…

After the Chinese government recently mandated micro-USB as the future national standard for mobile phone chargers, OMTP (the Open Mobile Terminal Platform), the forum whose members include Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and LG, announced that micro-USB will be the future common connector for the mobile phones.

“What is micro-USB?”, you may ask.

well, I don’t know, my understanding is that it’s kinda a “Small USB”…which is:

“thinner than the currently ubiquitous mini-USB standard and therefore better suited to the ever-shrinking dimensions of mobile phones and other consumer electronics, was introduced to the world by the USB Implementers Forum (USB-IF) at the start of this year. Like mini-USB, the standard also makes it possible to charge phones from PCs.”

I wonder what it looks like, maybe it’s just like my apple laptop’s usb charger…

Savvy?

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

Forget about “Save Private Ryan“, forget about all those made-up blockbuster stories altogether.

What you’ll see below is the real deal: a young buffalo cuff went through lion attacks as well as some horrific croc bites, and with the help of a group of brave buffalos, it came out safe.

What a fate! What an inspiring story! Only this time, it’s for real!

Didn’t it make your blood pump when seeing the buffalo picked up the lion and threw it high up in the air?

Damn, it feels good…so good…

[i saw this video clip on avideoaday.com]

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

The summer is half way through, what movies have you seen so far?

If you’ve not had the time yet, here is a list of 6 must-see summer flicks of my choice:

1. The Bourne Ultimatum
The third movie of the sequels and I do hope it’s not the last!

August 31

2. The Simpsons
Simply the funniest family in the world, and breathtakingly out of this world!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jz4tRHPi7eA

3. The Transformers
I grew up in the fantasy that one day I would become the young boy who’s got the coolest ever robot friends, and this blockbuster has brought back all those ever-so-vivid worry-free days

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7uXvqfQvNI

4. RushHour 3
This might be one of the very few Jackie Chan’s final action movies as he’s almost in his 60′s. he carries on his usual funny action movie tradition in probably the final sequal of the RushHours.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pe3WibMu780

August 10

5. Harry Porter – order of the phoenix
I just want to watch this movie and see who dies in the end, and I hope I’ve not spoiled anything for you.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GLud6yM47u8

6. Halloween
I’m afraid you have to live the nightmare again with the incarnation of the masked killer Michael Myers’ suburban killing sprees

August 31

what are your choices, have you got a to-do list?

The Thriller dance as it’s widely known has been replicated by the fans all around the world, and here I will share a couple of the very best ones.

1.Prison Thriller:

I’ve seen quite a few versions of the Thriller dance, but this prison Thriller dance has to be the most unusual and controversial. The dancers in the video are actually prisoners in the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center in Cebu, Philippines.

The whole thing is the brainchild of Byron Garcia, who works as a security consultant for the Cebu provincial government. He confirmed that doing the dance had helped improve inmate behavior drastically for the better, apparently two former inmates have since become proper dancers after serving the terms. To be honest, I’m not surprised, not at all, and if Michael has seen the dance video, I’m sure he’d be well impressed.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMnk7lh9M3o

2.Wedding Thriller:

Once (if you’re not planning to marry twice, three times, … that is) in a lifetime , what song would you choose to dance to?

They’ve practiced it, done it and they’ve certainly made Michael proud!

The Original Michael Jackson Thriller video:

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

Everton worte a post complaining about the Virgin Media’s internet broadband capping policy and its expensive monthly fee, so I thought it’s time to share my experience with certain internet broadband provider and how I saved money.

Before I start to tell you my glorious story, I’d like to thank the BBC programme called “Don’t get done, Get Dom“. It’s that programme which taught me how to haggle the price down.

It was about 15 days ago, after watching the programme, I decided to make a few phone calls. One was to my broadband service provider, BulldogBroadband. Before I called, I did a bit of research on the price of one of bulldog broadband’s competitor, Tiscali. After comparison, I realised that tiscali was offering a better deal on the same services pricewise.

So I dialed the number to BulldogBroadband…

Now here is what impressed me, someone from BulldogBroadband answered the phone within 15 seconds…you know what that means: that means good customer services. If you live in the UK, and have had some experience of dealing with companies, you’ll know what I’m talking about, sometimes, they left you listening to the blipping boring music for more than 5 minutes, even longer…

so far so good…

I told the gentleman about my comparison, and asked BulldogBroadband to match Tiscali’s quote. He said he counldn’t do that, and he explained to me why of which I was fully aware: Set-up fee, transfer between landlines which costs money again and the waiting time…However, he gave me £5 discount each month(only £2 short of my initial target), and that’s £60 saved in a year.

Success…

Sometimes, saving money is only a phone call away with a little bit of research, and simple as that.

a few points:

1. Always take advantage of the comparison sites

2. Watch good television and learn and apply it in real life

3. Always threaten to leave, they will sit up and take notice and you will ultimately get a cheaper deal.

Back to Everton’s post, I think Everton needs to switch broadband service providers, maybe to BulldogBroadband Unlimited Plus where the capping is set on 16mb which would cost £24.99(£19.99 for the first 2 months) plus £10.50 for landline which adds up to £35 a month, compared to Virgin Media, it’s still a very good deal. What Everton should do is to call BulldogBroad, and tell them that he’s undecided which company he’d take up, and I’m sure he’d get some discount from BulldogBroadband.

As some may have noticed, I didn’t mention BT above, well, you see, my girlfriend who currently lives in London has got a problem with BT which involves a disfunctional BT router. BT promised to send her a new one which hasn’t arrived after her being unable to use the internet for over a month. She called BT a couple of times, but was told that the postman counldn’t find her address. I wonder how they managed to deliver the first router in the first place.

I’m going to London on Sunday to help her out. Hopefully, she’ll some discount plus a bit of compensation too. Wish me luuuuuuuck!!!

Are you happy with your broadband service provider? Would you like to share you tricks to save money? Please let us know.

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

Well, if you’re reading this post now, then the answer is yes, the internet crashed, but it’s still connected…

sometime today, the internet crashed along with some people’s data lost due to one man who opened up more than 35 windows on his personal computer which kinda overloaded the internet and caused the horrific crash. Now, I’ve got 4 questions:

1. why would the internet crasher have more than 35 windows open at the same time? For one, he can not use them at one go.Two, it’d be a bit messy, don’t you think?

2. Can the internet be more vulnerable? I mean, it was only one man with a computer of 35 active windows. Can you imagine all of us doing the same? hmm, scary thought….

3. Why didn’t the US government backup the internet in the first place? Never thought of it? Well, they’re not doing a good job keeping our happy life online, are they?

4. Really? Did that really happen?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJCyAHJ27Uw

I hope you’re all well outta there. For World Peace!

Please leave a message, so that we know you’re ok….

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

Now, I’ve not seen such a sexy and funny video for a long while!
The video was added on June 06, and during that 5 days period, the video has been viewed for 2,945,506 times and increasing and there’ve been well over 10,000 comments left, which just gives you an idea how popular it is.
In this video, a Paris Hilton look-alike sings the funny lyrics about Paris’ prison ordeal (and other things she’s famous for) to the original “Stars Are Blind” tune by the A Simple Life star.
When I heard the words “I miss my chiwawa”, I just couldn’t help but laughing.
The video is professionally done by people at oMovies.com, the lyrics is well written and I think it’s a lot better than the Paris Hilton original.
I’ve already thought up a resolution for Paris out of Jail: Re-record her “Stars Are Blink”. and it might just save her singing career.

I think Paris Hilton has just found her body double! What do you think fellas?

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

Now I’m a big fan of logos and that’s partly why I started The Logo Homepage dot com, and I’ve been keeping a keen eye on new logo designs.

When I got up this morning to the news that London has got new logo identity for the 2012 games, I was very excited until I saw it. To be honest, I was disappointed about the new designs, for a start, it looks like shattered buildings to me.

Maybe it’s a sign, a sign that indicates something like: the spiralling cost would ultimately shatter the dreams of 2012 London Games…

To make it worse, the new logo design for the 2012 London Olympics Games has costed taxpayers well over £400,000. Can’t they just hold a competition for designing a logo, I’m sure they will get many involved and what’s more, a logo for free, just like what they did in China with the Beijing 2008 Logo.

Well, I guess it’s too late now!

In the press release, it says “The new emblem is dynamic, modern and flexible. It will work with new technology and across traditional and new media networks.” But what’s wrong with the previous logo though, don’t they remember that it’s that logo that won London the right to hold the 2012 games?

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

Just in case you don’t know it yet (and I’m sure most of you don’t), today is actually the National Work From Home Day in the UK. I’m sorry that I wrote this post a bit too late, otherwise you could’ve just called in sick and “work from home” instead.

I’d like to share 5 videos with descriptions that have the word “Most” in them in celebration of the Work From Home Day.

The heroin in the video is Jud Laipply, whose official website is theevolutionofdance.com. The video has been viewed for 50 million times. Beat that!

2. Asian Backstreet Boys-The MOST famous Chinese youtubers.

3. OK Go!–The MOST Funky music video

5. Internet Porn–The MOST attractive way of showing stats

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

In this post, I’m exploring 6 great gadgets that will be available for sale mainly in May and June.

1. iPhone, more than a mobile phone!

iPhone is a mobile phone and yet a lot more than just that. As the most speculated mobile phone in history, iPhone, is completed with a mobile phone, a widescreen iPod and an Internet communications device which includes desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching…

The most noticeable iPhone feature to me is that it has no conventional qwerty keypad. which in itself is a first, with which you can (and aslo have to) do everything with just your fingers(touching).

Without a keypad, on one hand, it’s revolutionary and an advantage for iphone, on the other, it’s also iphone’s limitation. I’m sure some people are not used to using a phone without a keypad (especially when sending a text message). Having said that, after a while, we will all get used to and fall in love with it.

check out the video of Microsoft CEO, Mr Ballmer talking about iPhone, in which though he does make a point about the keypad, or rather the lack of it, i’m sure he won’t be the one that laughs last!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C5oGaZIKYvo

available date:June
price:$499-$599

2. Pink Zune, it’s for the ladies.

According to Zune Insider, Microsoft is rolling out a limited edition of 10,000 pink zunes. It’s kinda a good strategy to woo the women customers over. Except the color, it’s still the same player, same 30Gb capacity.

available date: May 1st
price: $249.99.

3. Sansa Shaker, shake it to switch it!

This mp3 player is something that is different and definitely adds something extra to the MP3 scene, the new Sansa Shaker music player is different, simply because you have to shake it to switch songs.

Manufactured by SanDisk, the Shaker is an innovative MP3 player that uses motion controls to let you jump from tune to tune with a flick of the wrist.

Apparently, it’s made for kids, but i’m sure we can use and enjoy it all right. The Sansa Shaker comes with a 512MB SD card that can hold around 125 tracks, with a big speaker built into on the top and a pair of stereo headphone jacks just for you to share. Interestingly, The Sansa Shaker is powered by a AAA batter, which boasts 15 hours of music.

Currently, Sansa Shaker is “available” in 2 colors, blue and pink.

available date: unknown
price:$40

4.SuperMultiBlue, the perfect solution. (united kingdom)

While Blu-ray and HD-DVD are fighting fiercely for the market share, Korean electronics giant LG has come up with a perfect solution – putting the 2 players together into one – SuperMultiBlue.

The LG’s solution is the world’s first dual-format Blu-ray and HD DVD player, capable of outputting footage at 1080p (the highest of hi-def outputs), boasting a full range of connections including HDMI and component alongside the usual AV suspects. SuperMultiBlue also supports a wide range of video formats, and is also capable of playing your old DVDs.

A cool addition to the player is the java-based interactive menus. This enables you to see the footage on screen, also with an overlay menu, which enables you to get into the interactive options.

If you’ve been scratching your head for a decision on whether buying a HD-DVD or Blue-Ray player, then LG has just made the decision for you and it’s the best.

The price will put a lot people off, but I’m sure it will drop at some point, and in the end of the day, it’s worth it!

available date: end of may
price:£999

5. Minox DC1022 10.1MP Digital Camera

The Minox DC1022 features a 6x zoom, 2.8 inch screen, 62x digital zoom, support of up to 2GB SD cards as well as an internal memory of 32 MB, selectable aperture and shutter speed and built-in speaker.
Available date: June 1st
price: $469.

6. Nokia 6120, a proper multi-tasker (united kingdom)

the new Nokia N95 hasn’t been in the market for long, yet Nokia has just released details of another great 3G handset the Nokia 6120 Classic.

Three cool features:

1. it’s got a super fast HSDPA chip inside, with which you can browse the web at broadband speed.
2. There are 2 cameras (yes, that’s right, 2 cameras) packed into the 6120; one for video calling and the other is for taking 2-megapixel photos at higher resolution. The camera has also got a 4X digital zoom and a panoramic mode for grabbing super-wide shots.

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

In my previous post Weird and Wonderful Gizmods Made In Japan, I mentioned 2 robots, Droid and the skatebot which impressed me, but compared to what you’re going to see, they are not as impressive by a long shot.

1.

AIBO (means companion in Japanese), created by artist Hajime Sorayama, first introduced by sony in 1999, is able to walk, “see” its environment via camera, and recognize spoken commands. Because of their ability to learn and mature through external stimulations they are considered to be autonomous robots.

If you’re a person that wants to have a dog but alergic to them, then it certainly is the best alternative you could’ve ever find. They wouldn’t piss on your favorite carpet, they wouldn’t bark when you’re in deep sleep, they wouldn’t stole your food from the fridge… but they can dance and repond, keeping you entertained all day long. It’s a shame that Sony has discontinued it…

2.

QRIO, originally Sony Dream Robot or SDR, is a entertainment humanoid robot marketed and sold by Sony to follow up on the success of its AIBO toy, which has also been discontinued. QRIO stood 2 feet tall and weighed 7.3 kg, capable of voice and face recognition, making it able to remember people as well as their likes and dislikes.

3.

Asimo, short for Advanced Step in Innovative MObility, is a humanoid robot created by Honda Motor Company, resembling a small astronaut wearing a backpack and able to walk and run on two feet in a manner resembling human locomotion. In the 2007 CES, Asimo was presenting an amazing show by doing some complicate moves, running in circles, climbing up and walking a staircase…

Keepon is a small, yellow robot designed to perform emotive and attentive exchange with human (especially children) in the simplest and most comprehensive way. Keepon was designed by Hideki Kozima of the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) in Kyoto, Japan.

Keepon is made up by rubber skin, two cameras for eyes and a microphone in its nose. In appearance it resembles a yellow snowman.

Keepon has been featured on BoingBoing, Engadget, Metafilter, YouTube… and has gained wide popularity. In the video, which was made by Marek Michalowski, the small cute robot is dancing to the song “I Turn My Camera On” by the band Spoon.

I’ve got to say Keepon is my favorite robot so far, it really put me in shame. I need to go out more and learn some fancy moves…

To end this post, let’s together remind ourselves of the “poem” I wrote the other day, which is called, “I have a dream”…:

“I have a dream that one day on the top of the Fuji Mountain the sons of former robots and the sons of former robots owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
……..
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their body.”

What’s your favorite robot?

[if you like this post, please stumbleupon us, digg us....or whatever you want to do with it, just spread the word, people]

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

Are you a Star wars fan? If so, then you are in the right place at the right time and reading the right post.
Mimoco, a well-known specialist USB makers has come up with a group of art toy USB flash drives under the copyrighted term “mimobot”. Wait, here comes the WOW-factor: they’ve even teamed up with the company behind Star Wars (Lucas Films) to produce a series of character-based(R2-D2, Stormtrooper, Chewbacca and Darth Vader) USB drives.

These funky looking gadgets are pre-loaded with Star Wars bonus content including wall-papers, avatars, videos and soundbites. The devices are USB 2.0, and compatible with both Macs and PCs. What more do you want?!

It’s got 3 size options for you to choose from, 1, 2 and 4GB for the price of $69.95, $99.95 and $149.95 respectively. For me, it’s a bit pricey just for some flash drives, but if you’re a Star wars fan, then I’m sure it’s money well-spent.

Which one is your favorite? If you’re getting one of these (or have already got one), please let us know….

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

What does the number 100 million remind you of, the number of firefox downloads, the number of online surfers in China, or the number of IE7 installations…?

The new news is that ever since its first was sold in October 2001, more than 100million Apple Ipods have been sold. The 100 millionth was sold just yesterday.

Ipod, the must-have gadget nowadays has got followers from the world of rich , famous and powerful. Among them are the Queen, who owns a silver ipod; the Chancellor Gordon Brown who shouts “I’ve got an iPod and I know how to use it.”; the technophobe Prime Minister Tony Blair, who has to get his daughter to download the music for him; and of course, the born comedian, the United States president Geoge Bush who showed off his white ipod and revealed his tunes to a reporter during an after-interview session, which you can see below:

During the period between 2001 and now, Apple has introduced 5 generations of ipod, 2 generations of ipod mini, ipod nano and the ipod shuffle. Everyone of them was sold like hot potatos.

Though it has got some issues in the past: scratched screens of iPod nano, complaints of a shorter-than-promised battery life, and the occasional explosions, Overall, it’s always been the APPLE in your eye (especially when it saved life).

For a 30 Gb iPod, it holds up to 7500 songs which takes you a whole year to listen to them all, and with a 80 GB ipod, it holds twice as many and takes twice as long. Is that it for iPod? I wonder what’s up next…

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

Apart from the well-known Nintendo Wii and PlayStation game consoles, Japan as a nation has constantly surprised us by producing some weird and wonderful gadgets. Let me just take you through some of my recent finds of the weird and wonderful gizmos made in Japan.

First up, Pussycat Dolls. It’s not the music band that is made up by 5 sexy girls I’m talking about. I’m talking about the 100% handmade Wartworks of cats in different actions. These cunning works are from a lady artist called Chizuko Hayashi from Sendai, Japan. Each set is different from another as the lady leaves the exact details in terms of colors and positions to the moment while still keeping the main theme.

It’s fun and nice to look at the picture, but if I actually get one as a present, I’m afraid I’ll just have to flog it on Ebay (and get $24.99 instead)….

Then, the blingbling mouse. My first impression told me that it’s just a Christmas tree deco ball, little did I know that it’s actually a fully functional computer mouse.

If you’re a hardcore blingbling fan, then it’s definitely the mouse to have, as far as usability is concerned, Talk to the hand..

Thirdly, the wipe-free toilet.

Apparently, Will Smith has got one installed at home (maybe a better looking and dearer one), and has enjoyed it very much:

They’re paper free. Wherever you sit on the toilet, somehow it hits the bull’s eye perfectly. It cleans and then dries you. It is just water and then air.

Well, the man has said it, and I will take his word for it… so if you’re a green environmentalist (or someone simply enjoys getting hit on the butt), you’d better get one…

Finally, lets check out some kickass Robo actions. Japan’s the country that is famed for AIBO the robot dog, the human-shaped robot that can both dance and sing, etc… and they have just added a couple to the list:

The robot Droid, capable of performing different maneuvers for various situations, can be used for household tasks safely, so much so that they are set to join the health care workforce to take care the elderly in the country in the near future.

Then there is Plen, the Skatebot, which will set you back well over $2,000. It skates with style and elegance, definitely a champion in the making…(just a little bit music please)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBIW7As0nxM

After seeing these cool robots, I’d like to say:

“I have a dream that one day on the top of the Fuji Mountain the sons of former robots and the sons of former robots owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
……..
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their body.”

Have you found any weird and wonderful gadgets that take your fancy?

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

Read the title out loud!

I’m just being childish here…

Wii, the game console along with it’s cool wiimote (the wii remote control) has undoubtedly revolutionized the way we play computer games, and it ultimately gives us the best physical gaming experience (given what we can afford) if not visually.

Speaking of physical gaming experience, allow me unveil today’s gadget, the WiiHelm, a stylish, white helmet that allows you to lock in your wiimote. This way, you can just give your hard-working hands some much-needed time off and let your head do the talking.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myrtf3ZERUw

It’s a stylish thing, but I’m just not convinced that it’d make too much a impact given the gamers enjoy playing their wii (i know what i’m writing) with the wiimote so much. Besides you’d get some serious neck injuries if not careful, or get too addicted with playing with your head.

Have you got a Wii? If so, would you Wii with your head?

Product Link via t-qualizer

Posted on Connected Internet - tech, mobile and gaming news.

You might have wished for this gadget while watching Star Wars, but now you can actually have one for real.

Zypad, pronouced as [zaipad], is a wrist wearable wireless PC, which functions just like a standard computer. It weighs only 290 grams but consists almost all the components and functions that a pc can possibly have and more: 3.5″ TFT touch-screen, GPS receiver, Mini keypad, SD slot, USB ports, Stereos, supporting both Windows and Linux…

The most impressive feature in my opinion is the energy saving system that consists of a postition and movement sensor, so when you lower down your arm to the rest position, the screen will automatically switch off to save energy, and when you put your arm back up, it turns back on.

It’s a fabulous piece of machine, I’d love to have one but I think it’s just too futuristic in a way that I wouldn’t want to walk on the streets wearing one on my wrist, maybe it’s just me.

What’s your take on that?
