Using Google To Find Free Mp3 Files
I’ve just discovered a cool new blog which is full of tips on how to use Google and Gmail. One tip I particularly like gives instructions on how to find mp3s using Google’s search engine.Martin seems to be a bit of a search guru and can manipulate Google parameters that I didn’t know existed. The example below for instance finds mp3s by 50Cent posted in October:
-inurl:htm -inurl:html -inurl:php -inurl:asp -inurl:doc
-inurl:pdf -inurl:shtml -inurl:txt AND (“index ofâ€Â|”last
modified”|”parent of”) AND mp3 -ringtone -lyric -playlist AND
“Oct-2005″ AND “50centâ€Â
Where the various arguments filter out all the crap you don’t want in your results.
If you want to learn more then visit gHacks or you could cheat like me and just replace the ‘50Cent’ in the example above and/or remove the ‘Oct-2005′ if you want to search over a wider date range.
