RSS Readers - What Do You Use?
What RSS reader do you use? I’ve reduced the number of feeds that I read to a more manageable 99, but I’m still in the market for a better way to read these feeds. If you are interested in what
feeds I track, I’ve uploaded my OPML which you can download below.
I currently use Google Reader on my PC (it’s also my homepage) as I find that it’s the fastest because it loads the stories in the background while I’m browsing through the stories, and I just love the Ajax interface.
On my mobile I currently use FreeNews. I reviewed FreeNews way back in July so I’m sure there must be better or alternative services on the market by now.
Can anyone recommend any alternatives? Why do you like it?
I want to say a quick thank you to those readers who have recently subscribed to my feed. Over the last couple of days my feed count has more than doubled and blasted through 500, although the counter displayed on the site hasn’t caught up yet. If you haven’t subscribed yet then why not do so now by clicking on the ‘XML’ button at the top of the screen and choosing your favourite reader.

I started using NewsGator Online today. Previously I was into Firefox's Live Bookmarks, but gave up on that when I wanted a web based reader solution. Started using Google Reader, but I dunno, I felt it kludgy and still beta and also noticed that my feed reading was going down. I like the lens interface, but I dunno, something wasn't right about it. Then I was with Findory for a while, and just today morning I switched over to NewsGator as I was starting to get dis-satisfied with Findory.
I also use Windows Live, but its only good if u have a small number of feeds.

Hmm, I dont see my previous comment here. If comments are shown only after your approval, maybe you should put a note saying so — so that people do not mistakenly think their comments have disappeared.

There's no moderation - the Captcha seems to do the trick.
I agree that lots of readers don't work very well when you have move than a handful of feeds to track.
Have you tried Rojo? That's another of my favs, but it can be painfully slow
