Earning Milestones

Hmm maybe I should take blogging more seriously. Darren Rowse of Problogger fame cashed more money from his latest monthly adsense cheque, than he made in the whole of 2003.

I recently removed the ads from this blog as too many ads were coming up for blog services and I didn’t want to upset blogware who are letting me have this blog for free. But to be honest, the amount of money I was making wasn’t that significant.

A few weeks ago I considered starting up a few more specialised blogs to generate more targetted advertising with a few mates to see if we could make some money, but nothing really happened. I guess I decided that keeping this blog going wass enough work and to run a 2nd or a 3rd would be too much hassle.

It makes me think, how much time do probloggers spend on their blogs? Making posts alone takes time but then there is all the traffic generation work bloggers have to do.

Is problogging an easy life or is just as hard as a normal job?
