Marriage. Like death, it is inevitable. Ultimately you will encounter that one “right” person and make the leap, or maybe you will simply reach that point where it dawns on you that if you don’t hurry up and pair off with somebody you are going to grow old and die alone.
We are all selfish creatures, to one degree or another. Marriage will drive that last trace of selfishness out of you like nothing else. It’s like going from a dictatorship to a democracy, and those who aren’t prepared to learn the subtle arts of compromise and diplomacy are headed to divorce court. As Connected Internet’s primary focus is technology and the internet, I have compiled a short list of Tech And Internet Don’ts For The Newlywed Or Soon To Be:
It used to be that the Asus Eee PC ruled the ring in the 7″, sub-1kg arena. So compelling was this baby that everyone from techeads to fashionistas lugged this punchy PC around. But that reign is about to end. Now, a flurry of muscular midgets are muscling into the Asus Eee PC arena- boasting lighter weights, heftier hard drives and more dazzling LCDs. The leading contenders to the Asus Eee PC include the Neo Explore X1, Astone UMPC and Deep Blue.

Okay, here’s a novelty that should attract dames to you dull workstation.
Turn it off, and this curiosity sits like a regular block of wood. But plug it into an AC and wow, LED lights display on the side- magically floating on the long side of the block. Squint as much as you’d like but you’d be hard pressed to identify the lighting system as you turn the device on and off. It just blends well onto the non-descript face.
Magical appearance aside, it’s easy to set this novelty. There’s a regular time adjustment knob on the back as well as the power adapter jack. If you want to spend cash on the chance to spike up workstation conversation, be ready to fork out $379. Quite hefty a fee charged by Takumi for a chameleon toy.
So… what do you think you’re going to use it for?
It takes a lot to impress women these days. The average guy cringes at the thought of taking a date home to his crib. Oohhh …. is that a cheesy sock over there? What’s that sticking out the bed? Ugghh a mouse! And those piles of dishes! Way back from the Jurassic period. Heck, I see some cockroaches festering beneath the labyrithine laundry!
But that’s no problem if you can dazzle her away with your groovy wallpaper that literally shines. Check this out:

Normally when I write a post about an online store e.g. Pixmania, it’s to warn readers not to shop there. However, after my most recent experience with Overclockers UK I have to do the exact opposite and encourage people to shop there.
I’ve spent a small fortune over the last month upgrading my PCs, TVs, speakers and Amp in anticipation of moving to a new flat. For the PC upgrades I used the components from my main PC to build a new Media Center, and I purchased new parts from Overclockers UK (Abit IP35 Motherboard, OCZ 2×1GB PC-2-8500 and Q6600) including an overclocking guide to go with my existing SwiftTech watercooling to upgrade my main PC.
