How To Whip The Competition In Organic Search Results

You know what organic search results are, right? That’s the listing that comes up when a user types in some keywords into google’s search box. It differs from PPC campaigns, such as the intrusive adword ads you see in the sidebar.
Middle last year, I’ve been experimenting with ways to increase clicks on my organic results. [...]

Impress Her With That Dazzling Ambience

It takes a lot to impress women these days. The average guy cringes at the thought of taking a date home to his crib. Oohhh …. is that a cheesy sock over there? What’s that sticking out the bed? Ugghh a mouse! And those piles of dishes! Way back from the Jurassic period. Heck, I [...]

Review: Toshiba HD XE1

Most HD DVD players and disc may sport a lower price than Blueray players but they’re beaten technically by the latter’s built in 1080p support. This changes with the launch of Toshiba’s HD XE1. Now HD DVD has a champ that can best the Blueray camp.
I purchased the Toshiba just last week and find it [...]

Click…Perfect Shot!

Okay, Nokia may have beaten the Sony Ericsson K850i to the 5MP punch with its N95, but it’s with the 850 that the camphone evolution finally takes off. This HSDPA-fuelled cybershot is the first phone to finally feel a camera! No fiddling with buttons, no guessing. Snapping your girlfriend’s cheer practice with the SE’s K850i [...]

GoldMail’s Overly Loud Mouth

Quick. What’s the internet’s killer app? Social networking? Beep! Wrong. Despite the flurry of Web 2.0 and other shiny net gadgets, email still dominates as the most used web application. I’ve tried the pedestrian Outlook Express with it’s no frills mail management system. Nothing can get more hohum than that. On the other end [...]

Savvy Backlink Strategies You Should Be Doing

The 2nd Quarter Pagerank update came and went, and most webmasters didn’t even feel it. It started mid Feb 2008 and ended  just a week ago. Many experienced PR and SERP loss (again). In my case, some sites went down a notch in PR, but surprisingly hit the top 1 to 3 spots for SERP. Goes [...]

How To Create a Buzz

I like blogs. I enjoy them so much that I blog on numerous niches. As a blogger, there’s one thing that really warms the cockles of my heart: and that’s having my blogs blogged about by a bunch of other folks on the world wide web.
Out of the handful blogs I maintain, only two or [...]

10 Insane Ways To Build Links

Are you white hat or black hat? White hat SEOs build inbound links at a steady pace and focus on quality, rather than quantity. Black hat SEOs take the opposite route and funnel in as many links as possible in a bid to create brand awareness.
They don’t care if their activities yield poor quality [...]

Blue UM650- Halfway There

A cursory check of the specs and you’ll be scratching your head to point what’s lacking. There’s Wi-Fi, a tiny mousemad, comfy keyboard and even a capable webcam. Everything’s nicely tucked away. Ah wait. I see what is missing. There’s no CD/DVD player on the unit, neither on its dock. Forgivable.
Nnonetheless- it isn’t a [...]

End World Hunger With Vocabulary Games

This morning, I logged into my favorite vocabulary building site. The main screen greeted me thus:
imperfection means:

odor
hogwash
action
blemish

Of course I clicked number five. It wasn’t a tough word after all. Now, beyond the ego-massage that radiated from getting the right answer, I felt a truly sizzling glow that warmed the cockles of my heart. You see, [...]
