CreditCard Sized PC With Wi-FI
The boffins at Israeli-based company Compulab managed to squeeze an Intel XScale chip running Windows CE or Linux, half a gig of flash, 128MB of RAM, AC ’97 sound and a Philips 802.11b wireless interface into a creditcard sized device. Other bits and bobs include a PCI bus, 4 USB host ports [...]

I just read a post over on Scoble’s blog giving some good advice on choosing a HDTV. I agree with his view that buying a 1080p HDTV now is a waste of time as nothing on the market supports 1080p.
I disagree with the advice he and also some of the commenters give on cables. [...]
Microsoft To Launch iTunes Rival?
More rumours are circulating the net that Microsoft is planning on going head-to-head with Apple by launching a music service to compete with iTunes. Reuters are the latest source, citing un-named 'sources', who have revealed that Microsoft is already having discussions with the big music publishers on licensing their tracks for the new service. Robbie [...]

Whilst I was getting my Telewest TVDrive repaired last week I gave the engineer a quick demo of Xbox Media Center and I downloaded and installed the latest version to show him how easy it was to setup.
I was surprised to see that in the latest T3CH build was a new skin that uses all [...]

My Nokia N80 - Views After One Week

It’s a shame, that despite the fanfare surrounding the launch of 3G, only one in ten Brits actually use mobiles to access the internet. I think TechDigest have summed up one of the key reasons why mobile internet adoption in the UK is so low:
“Brits are just too cynical about excessive data charges to [...]
Don’t Forget To Back Up Your PC! I’ve Learnt The Hard Way
If only I’d backed up my files. After spending many hours Tidying Up My iTunes MP3 Collection to remove duplicates, add the correct Album Artwork and to get all my ID3 tags correct etc, I somehow managed to delete ALL of my ID3 tags. This wasn’t too much of a problem for iTunes [...]

Very good 6 min video demoing the cool new web browser, 3 megapixel camera and the music player.
I really think the N80 will be a classic phone and deserves a place in the mobile hall of fame like the 6110, the 7110 and the 7650.

Nokia N80 Delayed Yet Again
Well it was supposed to be launched on Vodafone UK early April, then Late April, then May 5th, then the 12th and now May 28th.
I’m getting worried that the Nokia N80 will be as buggy as the Nokia 6630 and the Nokia 6680, although I have to admit my current Nokia 6680 (on my 3rd!) [...]
