I’ve Joined The SpotPlex Beta

I got my SpotPlex invite yesterday and it’s been live for a few hours so far. Adding the code was simple. All I had to do was choose what categories were relevant to my site, and then add the generated code to my site like any other blogging badge.

How Will SpotPlex Drive Traffic To Small Bloggers?

I’ve just read about Spotplex a new news aggregator that TechCrunch seem to think has the potential to be better than Digg, as it can’t be abused by users.
Spotplex decides which stories to put on its homepage based on which stories are read the most. It tracks reads by getting sites to add [...]

AutoRoll - New Automatic BlogRolling Service

I got an email from the CEO of Criteo yesterday asking me to try out the new AutoRoll Widget service which is in beta. The idea behind the AutoRoll is that it automatically creates a list of the most popular other sites that the readers of that particular site read.  Other sites will [...]

I have a major spam problem on this site so it’ll be a good [...]

Can Someone Send Me A Newsvine Invite Please

If any readers are registered for the Newsvine beta could they please email me an invite. Newsvine sounds like it could be an interesting service, based on what cavemonkey has to say about it:
…articles are automatically managed by the website. The website figures out how the articles should rank by a number of factors. [...]

Google Adds RSS Feeds To Its Personalised Homepage

Google have finally added RSS feeds to its personalised homepage and there are rumours floating around that adding your own feed might increase your page rank.  I still think MSN’s beta service has the most potential although I’m using Rojo at the moment more as I like the way it aggregates my feeds and clearly [...]
