Added Tags to my blog
I’m not sure how effective they are yet but I’ve added tags to my blog powered by TagCloud as I need to work out how to change the stylesheet so that they fit in with the rest of the blog. Let me know if you find the tags useful or not.
The formatting in TagCloud [...]
Blogware Adds Spellchecker (finally!)
As I created my last post I noticed a few new buttons in my dashboard. Blogware have added a much needed spellchecker as well as the ability to post to dates in the future.
Not quite sure when I would use future-post though, but the spellchequecker is great!
Ping-o-matic Problems? Try This Alternative
There are some smart people out there. In response to problems with Ping-o-matic, Fred, has developed his own service that will ping 15 aggregators. Unfortunately you have to select all 15 individually as there isn’t a ’select all’ option. Why do people do this?
Is it a feeble attempt to save on bandwidth?
Feedburner Pro Stats Test
I tend to find the feedburner stats more useful than the blogware stats because they are updated constantly over the day, and they give me a better feel of what people are reading, even though Feedburner only reports on users who have subscribed to my RSS.
I’ve been considering switching to the pro service for a [...]
60 Million Blogs Worldwide
The blog herald reports that there are now over 60m blogs worldwide. A significant amount of these blogs are free blogs provided by the likes of MSN spaces and blogger.

I have to agree with Peter [...]
Yahoo! 360 Update-Only 20K On Trial?
Aqute Research have posted some surprising figures for the Yahoo! 360 users. They believe that Yahoo! only has around 20,000 users.
I thought they would have opened up the trial more by now. I have an account but I was put off by the poor looking homepage so I haven’t bothered making a test [...]
Autoblogger
What a great tool! I’ve been using Autoblogger for a few days now to generate extra posts. Autoblogger automatically creates posts based on your writing style - great for when you don’t have time to make a post.

MSN Spaces the number one blog service?
MSN spaces apparently have added 10m blogs in 5 months, and at its current rate of growth will soon overtake SixApart. Is there a future for services like SixApart or Blogware or will they become acquisition plays for a service provider looking to buy technology?More on this topic: Blog Herald

Spent a bit of time fiddling with my stylesheet. For someone who can’t write HTML it’s a very slow process. If there are any blogware experts, could you please tell me what I need to change to get the ‘Topic’ component to display on every page. It’s really starting to bug me.

Just saw an extremely funny photo in my ‘Latest London Photos’ Flickr feed (bottom left of the page) that I wanted to post. Unfortunately blogware wasn’t listed as an option on Flickr’s site - is there any other way to add a Flickr picture?
