I finally worked out how to blog from Flickr using blogware. The following settings do the trick:

Blog Type: BloggerAPI enabled blog
API endpoint: http://www.blogware.com/xmlrpc.cgi
Username and password as normal – though you might need your username in all lower case. I did, for some reason.
