Nokia 6680 review
I won’t be doing a review of the 6680 as I’m going to wait for a N70 or a N91 as my next upgrade. However, for those of you who are still considering the 6680, including Errol, then here’s infosyncworld’s write-up.
Their summary was:
‘Whether the Nokia 6680 is an improvement over its predecessor, the 6630, [...]
Cameraphone sales up 200% - but are users sending more MMSs?
Camera phones now outsell digital cameras by almost 4 to 1, reaching just 68 million units globally in 2004. However, I’d be interested to see whether MMS traffic is increasing so that the networks are actually benefiting. I have a sneaky suspicion that more camera phones are being sold because almost all phones [...]

Grrr I’m getting slow in my old age. I missed that the N91 has a built-in Wi-Fi connection! I was going to upgrade my 6630 to a 6680 but I think I’ll hang in there now for the N91 as hopefully by the time it comes out I’ll be able to setup Skype [...]

Hmmm maybe I should wait for one of these rather than going for my 6680 upgrade. These new smartphones from Nokia look fantastic and have a good specification. Three handsets have been launched:
The Nokia N90 multimedia, the first camera phone equipped with Carl Zeiss optics. Boasts a 2 megapixel camera and VHS resolution [...]

I’m getting lots of traffic from people looking for information on the Nokia 6680, which I think is the ultimate smartphone, and not the Treo 650 etc.
I checked yesterday with Vodafone and I’ll be getting my 6680 upgrade in 2nd week in May as the phone is due for release 5th May. I’ll write [...]
Smartphones to replace Digital cameras?
I’ve been so impressed with the camera on my 6630 that when I jet I’m off to Jamaica in a couple of weeks I’ve decided to not take a traditional camera, just my Nokia 6630. I might even Moblog a few shots although it might be too expensive.
I’ve even ordered a 256Mb memorycard [...]
Problems with Nokia 6630?
Ok my phone is playing up again. All my calls are going straight through to my answerphone and I’m also having problems making calls. Looks like Vodafone are going to have to replace my Nokia 6630 again - this will be the 2nd time.
I’ve heard from a couple of people that this handset [...]
Blackberry’s - Why do people need them?
Found a great article on CNN about ‘How Blackberry conquered the world’. I’m constantly amazed by the growth in the usage of these devices. Blackberry have done a great job in my view of getting key individuals to use their device so that other people jump on the bandwagon and want one as [...]

Review: Nokia 6680 - The Ultimate Smartphone?
I personally splashed out on a 6630 in December after becoming frustrated with the UIQ interface on my P900. I was happy to forego being able to make video calls in return for the sophistication this phone offered.
Now Nokia are preparing for the launch of the 6680 which, surely will set the benchmark for [...]
