Travelocity seals Lastminute deal - £577m
It’s amazing how fortunes develop. I remember when I first met Brent Hoberman and Martha Fox. They had just setup Lastminute and were working in rented offices on inflatable furniture!
Anyway, online retailer Lastminute.com today agreed to a £577m ($1.07bn) takeover bid from Sabre Holdings, owner of the Travelocity online travel business.
