More Cool Firefox Extensions
I’m a big fan of Firefox. More and more cool extensions just keep coming out for it and I’m finding that I’m funnelling more and more stuff through Firefox.:
The latest cool extension I’ve found is TorrentBar which lets me search for Torrents directly from within Firefox

Skype vs. Gizmo?
I have to admit that I haven’t tried using Gizmo but if it does avoid Skype’s bandwidth consumption then I’ll be a fan. Gizmo is a new Skype-like VoIP client from Michael Robertson, of SipPhone, MP3.com and Linspire fame.

I for [...]

P2P fuels bandwidth demand, MPAA tactics backfiring
Despite the best efforts of the MPAA (and what their PR machine is telling us), P2P usage is continuing to grow.

I noticed two interesting stories today. The first one on the BBC stated that from Sunday the UK singles chart will include online downloads for the first time, which will have a major impact on the top 10. In the first three months of 2005, 4.5 million songs were downloaded legally in the [...]
