Podcast Added To The Oxford English Dictionary
The Oxford English Dictionary will add podcast to its second edition.
The editors said that words like podcast, wiki and phishing are part of the english language and reflect the growing influence of technology on daily life.
The Dictionary defines a podcast as:
” a broadcast that can be downloaded from the Internet to a personal audio player.”
The Podcasting Vicar - Podcasting For The Masses!
A vicar based in the UK has seen his podcast downloaded over 2,000 times since he posted it on iTunes - looks like podcasting is definitely reaching the masses!

I asked Peter of Blogware fame if he had any data showing how popular podcasts are and he said he’d been looking for the same and hadn’t managed to find any but he said that a Forrester report might have some details.
