Arrington Closes TechCrunch UK After Dispute With Editor

I’ve just learnt via 901am that Michael Arrington has temporarily closed TechCrunch UK, following the dispute with editor Sam Sethi.
I can understand Michael Arrington’s frustrations with Sam Sethi posting after he’d agreed to leave or had been fired, as legally he has no right to continue using TechCrunch property.

60 Million Blogs Worldwide

The blog herald reports that there are now over 60m blogs worldwide. A significant amount of these blogs are free blogs provided by the likes of MSN spaces and blogger.
Premium blogs are in the minority, with Six Apart accounting for 1.5m blogs and other services like blogware chipping in.

MSN Spaces the number one blog service?

MSN spaces apparently have added 10m blogs in 5 months, and at its current rate of growth will soon overtake SixApart. Is there a future for services like SixApart or Blogware or will they become acquisition plays for a service provider looking to buy technology?More on this topic: Blog Herald
