Yesterday morning I was faced with hundreds of unread items. Before doing what I [...]

Also, how do I get the latest trackbacks to display on the Dashboard?  At the moment I’m having [...]

Turning off Trackbacks - Too Much Spam

I feel really bad about this as I used to hate other blogs that didn’t allow trackbacks, but I’m getting tired of deleting a couple hundred trackback spams a day so I’m afraid I’ve just turned off trackbacks.
I might turn them back on to see if blogware have improved their filters.

Engadget using Technorati/Cosmos

After recently removing Trackbacks because of spam, Engadget have just added Technorati/Cosmos to their site.
I don’t reallly see though how this is better than trackbacks for controlling spam? Surely Cosmos can be abused the same way as Trackbacks?
I’ve also found Technorati to not be 100% reliable at picking up links.
