Wi-Fi Skype Mobile

Skype’s CEO recently confirmed that a Wi-Fi enabled Skype mobile will be out this year.
It will be interesting to see how it copes with roaming - moving between GPRS/3G to Wi-Fi when available. I seem to remember reading somewhere that GPRS is currently too slow to run Skype.

MetroFreeFi: Free Hotspots Directory

I hope something like this comes to the UK soon.  I can never find a hotspot when I want one, and definitely not a free one. 
MetroFreeFi is a state-level directory of free hotspots in the US.  The Directory can even be downloaded to an iPod.

I’ve just come out of a meeting where the wi-fi service I was hoping to use wasn’t working. It made me wonder - how easy is it to find a hotspot when you need one?
