I’m on a mission today to find out why I’m getting next to no traffic from Yahoo! despite being crawled constantly.
Have you got any tips? Or, should I give up on Yahoo! and focus on getting more Google traffic?

Why Is Yahoo’s Search Bot Constantly Crawling My Site?

I like to keep an eye on my ‘Who’s Online‘ page which can be quite informative and a very quick way of gauging how much traffic I’m getting.

I think this is a good idea (although I couldn’t test at the time of posting as the service didn’t seem to be working), as I still find it weird that search engines persist in [...]

Wikipedia The Number 1 Online News Site

Recent data from Hitwise shows that Wikipedia has five times more traffic than Yahoo News, Google News and BBC online. It’s amazing how fast Wikipedia is growing, but I guess having literally thousands of contributors can’t help, as well as high rankings in search engines.
